Background
The Patriot Carbine is part of the All-Environment Combat Armor (ECA)and the New Fleet Modernization Program (NFMP).
The Patriot Carbine includes a head-ups display in the Chemical and Biological Filter System Mask, including a basic HUD display on zoom-in and zoom-out on the range scope with targeting range data, rounds left in mag, heat of weapon, and any other jamming or damage alerts on the carbine), is the follow-up to the successful Multipurpose Assault Carbine series, utilizing the same powerful penetrating power of the new Super ADES Round (S-ADES Round) that is used with the Predator Assault Rifle.
The Patriot Carbine provides the same range as the Multipurpose Assault Carbine, however has heavier stopping power then the Multipurpose Assault Carbine.
The Federal Army has openly stated that the Patriot Carbine will replace all Multipurpose Assault Carbines, except for the Extended E Special and Extended E Special Mark 2, within two years after Operation Clean Sweep.
The Patriot Carbine has a Optional Tactical Package, which includes many of the features of the Extended E Special Mark 2, including a longer attachment to accommodate the following:
- optional grenade launcher or shotgun attachment
- fixed flashlight
- fixed laser sight
- optional silencer
- optional barrel handle grip can rotate all the way around to either side of the barrel and either act as a side barrel grip or be folded in on itself along the side of the barrel
